A dentist visit

I am among the millions of americans that despise going to the dentist. I don't know were this fear really manifested from, but I know that I will do almost anything to stall to go to the dentist, even for the most basic of care; a preventative cleaning.

So, for one of my New Year's Resolutions I took it upon myself, along with a lot of helpful prodding from Anne, to make the appointment with her dentist. Today was teeth cleaning day and a refill of an old cavity.

Believe it or not, I survived.

A Pageant of a time....

Okay, Here is the beginning of putting up some photos of things that I have done during the busy month of February.

On 12 February, we went to Sacramento to see a production of Pageant at The Studio Theatre. A friend was in the production.

A brief 10 second about Pageant:

PAGEANT is a musical spoof of that all American institution, the Beauty Pageant. Part camp, part glitz and all hilarious, it is an actual staged pageant with a twist: judges from the audience select the winner every night from among the six contestants, who are all played by men!

It was a good time by all. It was fun to see Willie, Miss Industrial Northeast, in the production. I believe that Pageant will run through March. Go if you have a chance.

I enjoyed the theatre too. I would highly suggest to see any production at the The Studio Theatre. There are always new productions coming to the theatre. Check it out!!!

Founders Day at Phi Kappa Psi

Okay, it has been very busy for me lately. I have so much catch up that I need to do on the website. I will have some picture in the travel/event area soon. But first, I wanted to talk about February 19, 2005.

February 19 is Founders Day for my Fraternity (Phi Kappa Psi). You can read all about it at the website. Anyway, we had the traditional feast at Sudwerks in Davis, CA. It was a great turn out. I was able to meet many new people and rekindle past experiences with people.

It was great to see the colonist present at the event. UC Davis, is in the process of restarting the chapter. They have many hurdles to over come, but it looks like they have a great start. They should know that they have the support of many alumni in the area. I heard that they are currently at around 25. That is wonderful. Keep up the good work.
